alinma Bank, in collaboration with the Al-Ahsa Chamber of Commerce, has launched the “AMAD Al-Hiraf” initiative aimed at empowering artisans and enhancing the sustainability of the handicrafts sector in the governorate. The initiative provides specialized training programs to improve artisans’ skills and encourage innovation in local handicraft products.
The initiative was presented during a visit by the “AMAD Al-Hiraf” team to His Highness Prince Saud bin Talal bin Badr, Governor of Al-Ahsa, who reviewed a comprehensive report on the AMAD Al-Hiraf Craft Training Center and its implemented programs. The programs have successfully trained more than 335 artisans and developed products inspired by Al-Ahsa’s heritage with a modern touch, further strengthening the governorate’s position as a national center for craftsmanship and creativity.
His Highness commended the tangible economic and social impact of the initiative and emphasized the importance of continued collaboration between the public and private sectors to support developmental programs that empower youth and artisans while preserving Al-Ahsa’s cultural identity.
