alinma Bank has announced the appointment of its CEO, Mr. Abdullah Ali AlKhalifa, as Managing Director of the Bank’s Board of Directors, in addition to his current responsibilities as Chief Executive Officer. This appointment follows the non-objection issued by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) and comes after his election to the Board during alinma’s Ordinary General Assembly Meeting held on April 24, 2025. The new board term began on May 21, 2025, and will continue for three years until May 20, 2028.
Mr. Abdullah AlKhalifa has served as the CEO of alinma Bank since January 2021. He brings over 30 years of experience in the banking sector, having previously held several senior leadership roles, including CFO at Arab National Bank, Al Rajhi Bank, and Banque Saudi Fransi.
Mr. AlKhalifa holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from King Saud University in Riyadh and a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Miami in the United States.
