As part of its corporate social responsibility efforts and in an effort to educate youth about important aspects of banking and personal finance, Alinma Bank has announced that will participate in the Aramco Cultural Festival, which will be held in Ras Tanura, Saudi Arabia from December 19 through December 31, 2011.
The exhibition, which will include various pavilions for (including ones dedicated for women and children), aims to develop children’s cognitive and creative capabilities as well as their scientific and experimental expertise. The exhibition will also include various entertainment and social awareness programs as well as cultural competitions and sports tournaments. Alinma Bank’s participation in this event concentrates on briefing youngsters about banking services and operations through entertaining and educational means.
Mr. Abdulmohsen Al-Fares, the CEO of Alinma Bank, thanked Aramco, which is considered one of the leaders in corporate social responsibility programming, for hosting such festivals and for giving Alinma the opportunity to participate. He added that the bank is eager to foster partnerships between private institutions and community members and that Alinma strongly believes in the valuable potential of such events.
