Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Qassim region, in the presence of the Governor of Onaiza, Mr. Abdul Rahman bin Ibrahim Al-Saleem, the acting deputy minister of education, Dr. Saad Al Fahaid, Alinma Bank inaugurated the Islamic Inventions and Civilization Pavilion at the Qassim Scientific Center in cooperation with the Ministry of Education in line with the Kingdom’s vision 2030 for strengthening the steps of the transition towards a knowledge economy.
About the launch, CEO of Alinma Bank, Mr. Abdullah Ali AlKhalifa, spoke about the cooperation between Alinma Bank and the National STEM Center and its affiliated scientific centers, as it contributes to preparing future generations, developing their skills, developing their skills, and preparing them for the knowledge economy through several community scientific initiatives.
It is worth noting that the Qassim Scientific Center is a project of the national strategy to develop public education in the Kingdom. Alinma Bank’s support for the Scientific Center comes as one of the bank’s social responsibility initiatives, as Alinma Bank provided an amount of SAR 3 million to set up the Islamic Civilization Pavilion in the center, as well as supporting the operations, maintenance, and development of the pavilion, including training workshops, education, and awareness programs.
