Alinma Bank has been named the 2021 “Strongest Islamic Retail Bank in Saudi Arabia” at the recently concluded Islamic Retail Banking Awards (IRBA) in Dubai. The award recognizes Alinma for its ongoing excellence in the delivery of products and services to its retail banking customers, and validates the bank’s strategic efforts to increase the speed and convenience of its banking services.
Speaking about the award, Alinma Bank Senior Vice President, Mr. Saleh Abdullah Al-Zumaie, affirmed the bank's ongoing commitment to pioneering innovative, Shariah-compliant banking services.
"Alinma Bank is dedicated to meeting the needs of its customers, and has established a distinct digital infrastructure that suits their requirements,” said Al-Zumaie. “We at Alinma Bank continue to provide the best customer service and adopt the latest technologies to make our banking services easy, efficient, and accessible to all."
It is worth mentioning that the Islamic Retail Banking Awards are presented annually by Cambridge IFA, a financial services intelligence house. IRBA winners are rigorously assessed by a panel of independent experts, based on the new efficiency model developed by Cambridge IFA. These prestigious awards honor individuals and institutions who have demonstrated great commitment and made significant contribution to the development, growth, and success of Islamic retail banking.
Alinma Bank was also the recent recipient of the 2021 “Best Islamic Bank” award from the Global Islamic Finance Awards (GIFA). Alinma was also GIFA’s 2020 “Leadership in Islamic Banking” award winner, and has received numerous other accolades for its leadership in providing Shariah-compliant banking services.
