Alinma Bank has successfully concluded its service to Hajj pilgrims during the 2011 Hajj season.
In addition to its regular branch and ATM banking services provided to visitors of Makkah and Madinah, Alinma also provided three dedicated ATMs at the holy sites for the convenience of pilgrims; and Alinma was the only bank to offer such services in Mina, which is the residential focal point for pilgrims each year.
Alinma CEO, Mr. Abdulmohsen Al-Fares, said that the bank was proud to serve pilgrims and to help give them financial peace of mind. He also applauded the efforts of the Saudi government in ensuring that this year’s Hajj was safe, secure and orderly for all.
Mr. Al-Fares added that Alinma Bank was particularly proud of its on-the-spot ATM services in Mina, which gave pilgrims the unprecedented ability to execute urgent financial transactions and withdraw cash without engaging in a confusing search for an ATM amidst the throng of more than 2.5 million other pilgrims.
Al-Fares finally thanked the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA) and the regional governments in Makkah and Madinah for assisting Alinma in establishing its special ATM services.
It is worth mentioning that Alinma Bank has 22 ATMs in Makkah and 11 ATMs in Madinah as well as more than 350 ATMs spread across the Kingdom. The bank also boasts a strong and growing network of branches through which it provides its fully Shariah-compliant financial and investment services.
