On Sunday, March 18, 2012, Alinma Bank hosted a workshop carried out by the Saudi Real Estate Development Fund entitled “Accelerated Loan Program Project.” In attendance were senior officials from the Ministry of Finance and the Real Estate Development Fund as well as senior executives from Saudi banks. Attendees discussed several issues related to the housing and real estate sector in Saudi Arabia.
The workshop coincided with the start of discussions between Alinma Bank and the Real Estate Development Fund that aim foster the development of a strategic partnership between the Bank and the fund related to common goals.
Mr. Abdulmohsen Al-Fares, the CEO of Alinma Bank, said that the discussions came within the framework of the strategic partnerships that the bank seeks to establish in order to reach practical solutions that would facilitate home ownership by citizens. This would both serve the bank’s strategic interests while contributing to the national economy. Al-Fares also pointed out that such activities help Alinma fulfill its social responsibilities towards its partners and the community.
