The vice governor of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA), Mr. Abdulaziz Bin Saleh Al Furaih, has recognized six Alinma Bank employees for their outstanding completion of the retail banking certification process that is run by SAMA through its Institute of Finance. All six staff members along with Dr. Sulaiman Al-Hudaif, the general manager of Human Capital at Alinma, attended a special ceremony at which Al Furaih made the award presentations.
Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Abdulmohsen Al-Fares, the Alinma Bank CEO, thanked SAMA and the Institute of Finance for their efforts to support and develop the skills of staff within the banking industry. He also congratulated the six Alinma bank honorees on their accomplishments and encouraged employees who will take the certification test in the future to strive to achieve the level of excellence attained by the honorees.
The Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency, in collaboration with the Institute of Finance, has instituted a standardized certification process for all bank staff in the Kingdom who have contact with the public, with specific emphasis on retail banking staff. The aim of the process is to grow the knowledge and capabilities of employees who deal with the public directly to so as to improve overall performance and to maintain the integrity of the market. Certification is mandatory for all staff who deal with the public directly, including tellers, customer service agents, sales staff and branch managers.
