RIYADH, January 1, 2017 – HRH Prince Abdullah Bin Masa’ad Bin Abdulaziz, president of the Saudi Arabian General Authority for Sports, has praised Alinma Bank’s recent sponsorship of the 2nd annual Mizwala carnival for families impacted by Alzheimer’s disease. The prince was the guest of honor at the event, which was organized by the Saudi Alzheimer's Disease Association at Dirab Square, Riyadh, December 23 – 24, 2016.
With the Mizwala event, the Association aimed to raise both funds and awareness about Alzheimer’s disease, making Mizwala an attractive opportunity for Alinma to cooperate and express its ongoing commitment to the support of charitable efforts and organizations and society at-large.
Speaking about the event, Alinma Bank CEO, Mr. Abdulmohsen Al-Fares, emphasized the importance of community to the bank.
“Alinma Bank is part of Saudi society; and we, therefore, have a responsibility to give back and support wherever we can,” said Al-Fares. “Alzheimer’s disease poses a significant challenge for both those with the condition as well as their families; and we are pleased to be able to work with the Saudi Alzheimer's Disease Association to make a difference in these people’s lives.”
Her Highness Princess Madawi Bint Mohammed, vice chairwoman and executive committee president of the Saudi Alzheimer's Disease Association, thanked all event sponsors, including Alinma Bank, and extended her heartfelt appreciation for the support of this worthy cause.
