As part of its community outreach efforts, Alinma Bank recently welcomed a delegation of students from Manarat Al-Riyadh schools at its Al-Nuzha branch in north Riyadh. During the visit, students were taken on a tour of the branch and were educated on the functions of the branch and the ways in which Alinma helps its partners (customers) with their various financial needs. Topics shared with students included products, services and general financial awareness.
Speaking about the visit, Alinma Bank Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Abdulmohsen Al-Fares, said that he was pleased to give students the opportunity to learn about aspects of banking and finance that will be important to their lives as they transition into their collegiate and professional lives. He also emphasized Alinma’s ongoing commitment to the communities it serves and its dedication to providing the very best service possible to partners.
In addition to branch visits, Alinma Bank also welcomes trainees from universities who regularly spend time working in various departments at the bank’s head office as part of those student’s university degree programs. Such on-the-job training programs give students valuable insights and help them develop key skills in various fields of business.
It should be noted that Alinma has a long-standing history of cooperation with and support of the education sector, including its Education Financing service, through which the bank provides no-fee financing for the payment of tuition and other education related costs. Alinma also provides special offers to employees in the education sector and sponsors research and seminars related to Shariah-compliant banking and finance.
