RIYADH, May 1, 2017 – Alinma Bank recently participated in the 34th annual Career Day at King Fahad University for Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) in Dhahran, where interest in the bank amongst graduating students was strong.
The event, held under the patronage of HRH Prince Saud Bin Nayef Bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Region, represents an important outreach opportunity for the bank, which is committed to identifying and hiring talented Saudi graduates.
Commenting on the event, Dr. Sulaiman AlHudaif, General Manager of Human Capital at Alinma, emphasized the bank’s belief that its employees form the key pillar of the organization, upon which the success of its strategies depends. With such a belief, noted AlHudaif, Alinma would continue to participate in recruitment forums and events, and to hire top graduates from the strong pool of qualified Saudis graduating from the kingdom’s universities.
Alinma Bank is a leader in recruitment and training in the banking sector. Through its "Al-Qawi Al-Ameen" program, holders of bachelor’s and master’s degrees in economics, finance and information technology fields are given the opportunity to do rotations in key bank departments over the course of eight months, after which top performers are eligible for employment with the bank. Additionally, Alinma extends talent development opportunities to current staff through its “Wa’ed” program.
It is worth noting that the Vice Governor of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA), Mr. Abdulaziz Bin Saleh Al Furaih, has recognized six Alinma Bank employees for their outstanding completion of SAMA’s retail banking certification process, which is administered by the organization’s Institute of Finance.
