Alinma Bank has signed an agreement with Oxford Aviation Academy that will see the bank extend Education Financing to trainees at the academy to assist with payment of tuition and fees incurred as part of their training programs. The agreement was signed at a special ceremony held under the patronage of H.E. Abdulhakeem Bin Mohammed Al-Tamimi, the Chairman of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), and was attended by Alinma Bank’s Managing Director and CEO, Mr. Abdulmohsen Al-Fares as well as other key executives from the bank and the academy. The agreement was signed by Alinma’s Vice President of Retail Banking, Mr. Ibrahim Al-Sayyari, and by the President of Oxford Aviation Academy, Colonel Othman Bin Zuwaid Al-Mutairi.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Al-Fares said that the bank was pleased to be able to support Oxford Aviation Academy, a global leader in vocational aviation and science training, and the many trainees that have, and will continue, to benefit from its programs. He further noted that it was incumbent upon Alinma to contribute to the growth and development of the Saudi economy and society, and that education represented a key gateway to the long-term success of the kingdom. Al-Fares also added that the bank’s Education Financing program was specially designed to have maximum social benefit and impact through its “no fee/no profit margin” structure, which alleviates financial pressures associated with obtaining quality education and training.
For his part, Colonel Al-Mutairi expressed his pleasure at having a cooperative partner such as Alinma to assist academy attendees in achieving their academic and career goals in aviation science. He also lauded the Education Financing program for reducing students financial worries, allowing them to focus on their studies with peace of mind.
Through its Education Financing program, Alinma Bank relieves the student burden of having to pay for tuition and fees up-front at the beginning of the school term. Students and their families then repay the financing over the course of convenient monthly payments, with no profit margin and no additional fees or charges.
