As part of its community outreach efforts, Alinma Bank recently welcomed a delegation of students from Ibn Khaldun schools at the Alinma Bank head office in Riyadh. During the visit, students toured several departments in the head office and the adjacent head office branch. Students were also educated on the functions of the branch and the ways in which Alinma helps its partners (customers) with their various financial needs. Topics shared with students included products, services and general financial awareness.
Speaking about the visit, Alinma Bank Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Abdulmohsen Al-Fares, said that he was pleased to give the students the opportunity to learn about aspects of banking and finance that will be important to their lives as they transition into their collegiate and professional careers. He also emphasized Alinma’s ongoing commitment to the communities it serves, and its dedication to providing the very best service possible to partners.
In addition to head office and branch visits, Alinma Bank also welcomes trainees from universities who regularly spend time working in various departments at the bank’s head office as part of university degree programs. Such on-the-job training programs give students valuable insights and help them develop key skills in various fields of business.
It should be noted that Alinma has a long-standing history of cooperation with and support of the education sector, including its Education Financing service, through which the bank provides no-fee financing for the payment of tuition and other education related costs. Alinma also provides special offers to employees in the education sector and sponsors research and seminars related to Shariah-compliant banking and finance.
