Alinma Bank, a leading Islamic bank in Saudi Arabia, has launched a new book titled "Sharia Provisions and Controls for Alinma Products and Services." The book aims to enrich Sharia awareness in banking transactions and highlight the bank's efforts and responsibility towards Sharia compliance.
Yaser AbdulAziz AlMarshde, Chief Sharia Officer and General Secretary of the Sharia Committee at Alinma Bank, said that the book is intended for a wide audience, including researchers, specialists, those interested in Islamic banking, customers, and beneficiaries of Islamic banking services. The book is also a valuable addition to the "Alinma Sharia Publications" application, which is the first of its kind in the banking sector.
It is noteworthy that the book "Sharia Provisions and Controls for Alinma Products and Services" is the culmination of the continuous efforts of the Sharia Committee Secretariat at Alinma Bank to enrich the Islamic banking library. The book contains 658 Sharia controls in various fields, including banking and financial services, treasury, investment and financing transactions, and securities. These controls were extracted from the decisions of the Sharia Committee and its work until 2022.
The book can be viewed through the "Alinma Sharia Publications" application, which is available on application stores.
